Terms of use

These terms cover using this website and everything reachable from it — the client portal, the express build flow, hosted proposals, call rooms, the newsletter and referral codes. This site is run by Muhammad Yusuf Diallo, trading as YusufCreates.

They are not the contract for project work. That is set out in the proposal you sign, and where the two say different things the proposal wins. If you are here to understand what you are buying, the proposal is the document to read.

Accepting these terms

Using the site means accepting them. If you do not, the remedy is straightforward: stop using it. There is nothing here you have to opt into, no account required to read anything public, and no dark pattern between you and leaving.

These terms can change — mostly because the site changes, and a page describing a feature that no longer exists is worse than no page. The date at the top is the honest record of when they last did. A change that materially affects someone with an open project or an active subscription is emailed to them rather than left to be discovered here.

Using the site

Read it, share it, quote it, link to it. Take screenshots. Send a page to a colleague. None of that needs asking.

What is asked of you instead is short and specific. Please do not:

• Scrape the site wholesale, or run automated crawlers beyond what a normal search engine does. There is an llms.txt and an RSS feed if you want the content in a machine-readable form — use those.
• Attempt to reach the admin area, another person's portal, another person's invoice or proposal link, or a call room you were not invited to. Every one of those is checked on the server, so this is a request not to waste your afternoon as much as anything else.
• Use the contact forms, the newsletter or the chat to send bulk, automated or unsolicited messages.
• Probe, scan or stress-test the infrastructure without asking first. If you have found something, the next section is for you.
• Upload anything to a portal, a call room or a form that is unlawful, malicious, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Misrepresent yourself as me, as YusufCreates, or as somebody you are not — including in a call room, where the name shown to everyone else comes from the invitation rather than from you, for exactly this reason.

Reporting a security problem

Email hello@yusufcreates.com with what you found and how to reproduce it. Good-faith reports are welcome and I will not come after you for making one. Please give me a reasonable window to fix it before publishing, do not access or modify anybody else's data while demonstrating it, and do not run tests that degrade the service for other people.

Accounts and portals

The client portal. Access is tied to your email address and granted when a project starts. Signing in is a code mailed to that address — there is no password to lose. Keep control of the inbox, because that is the credential; anyone who can read your mail can reach your portal.

Stakeholder access. On enterprise engagements additional people can be given access to the same project. They see what the client sees, deliberately — there is no read-only tier, because a procurement lead who cannot see the invoice emails me for the invoice.

Express build portals. These are reached by a link containing a token rather than by signing in. Treat that link as the credential it is: anybody holding it can see the build and its payment state.

Call invitations. A call link is one key for one named person, and it gets you as far as the doorstep — somebody already in the call has to let you in. Forwarding one does not transfer the invitation, and a host can revoke it at any point. Ending a call revokes all of them.

Access can be suspended for anyone using it to reach data that is not theirs, and it ends when the engagement does — with reasonable notice and a chance to take your files first, not silently.

Prices, quotes and payment

Prices shown on the site are current and in the currency you have selected. They are an indication of cost, not a binding quote — the quote is the figure in your proposal, and that figure is fixed once you accept it. Currency conversions other than pegged rates are approximate and calculated at the time the page is rendered.

Every price is resolved on the server from a single pricing definition, so a figure altered in a browser is not a figure that will be charged. If a price is displayed wrongly because of a genuine error on my part, I will honour it where it is reasonable to and tell you plainly where it is not, before taking any money.

Express builds. A deposit starts the work and the clock; the balance is only owed if the build is delivered inside the window. If I miss it, you keep the balance and you still get the site. That is the whole promise and it is not conditional on anything else.

Care plans. These are recurring subscriptions. They renew until cancelled, they can be cancelled at any time, and cancelling stops the next renewal rather than clawing back the current period.

Payments are processed by Stripe. I never see or store your card details. Refunds, where they apply, are set out in the project contract rather than here.

Referral and promotional codes

Referral codes are personal, time-limited and intended for genuine introductions. They do not apply to enterprise engagements, which are negotiated. Codes generated by claiming your own share link, or by clearing storage to mint codes in a loop, will not be honoured — both are refused automatically, and a code obtained that way can be withdrawn before it is applied to an invoice.

The newsletter

Nothing is sent until you confirm the address, and every message carries a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately and needs no explanation. Subscribing does not create an account and does not grant access to anything.

What you send me

Briefs, files, messages, whiteboard drawings, chat and anything else you put into a form, a portal or a call stay yours. Sending them gives me only what is needed to do the work and reply to you: to store them, read them, and use them in the course of the project.

You confirm you have the right to send what you send. Please do not upload other people's confidential material, personal data you have no basis to share, or anything you are not free to hand over.

Testimonials are different only in that they are published: you write it, you approve it, and it goes up with your name against it. Ask and it comes down.

Assistive and automated features

Parts of this site are drafted with the help of a language model — some proposal drafts, some summaries of calls you were in. Everything it produces is a draft that I read before it goes anywhere. Nothing is sent, priced or agreed on a model's say-so, and no automated system here decides anything about you on its own.

Automatic transcription in a call runs in your own browser and only while somebody has switched it on. It is visible to everyone in the room when it is running.

Ownership: the site, the products, the marks and the work

This section is a statement of who owns what. It is worth reading because the answer is different in three places, and the differences are the point.

This site and its portfolio. The writing, design, code, photography, illustration, motion, layout and structure of YusufCreates — including this portfolio, every case study in it, and the source behind it — are the property of Muhammad Yusuf Diallo and are protected by copyright. © 2025–2026 Muhammad Yusuf Diallo. The name and the mark. YusufCreates™, the YusufCreates wordmark and the chevron device are trademarks of Muhammad Yusuf Diallo, used and claimed in commerce. They may not be used to identify another business, product or service, to imply an endorsement or partnership that does not exist, or as part of a domain name, app name, handle or logo. Referring to YusufCreates by name in writing — a review, an article, a credit line, a link — needs no permission and is welcome.

My own products. The following are built, run and owned by Muhammad Yusuf Diallo. Their names, logos, wordmarks, interfaces, copy, designs and source code are his property and are protected by copyright and trademark, whether or not registered:

• Every other product, application, tool, brand and logo published under the YusufCreates name, whether listed here or not, and whether released or in development.

Appearing in the work section does not make one of these a client project. They are shown there because they are the work — the same way anything else is.

Client names and logos. Everything else in the work section belongs to the clients who own it. Their names, trademarks and logos appear with their permission and remain entirely theirs. Nothing on this page claims any right in them, and nothing here should be read as one.

Work I build for you. A different matter again, and the most important one: you own it outright once the final invoice is paid — code, designs, domains, accounts, transferred to you. Until then it is mine, which is what makes the payment schedule mean anything. The details, including any third-party components that carry their own licences, are set out in the project contract.

I keep the right to show the finished work in this portfolio and to describe how it was built, unless we agree otherwise in writing before the project starts. Where an engagement is under NDA, that agreement takes precedence and the work does not appear here at all.

If you think something here infringes your rights

Write to hello@yusufcreates.com and tell me what the material is, where on the site it appears, what right you hold and how to verify it. I would rather hear it directly than through a form, and I will take down anything I cannot properly account for while it is being sorted out.

Accuracy and availability

I keep this site accurate and correct mistakes when I find them, but I cannot promise it is free of errors or always available. It is hosted on infrastructure I do not run, and it goes down when that does. Nothing here is professional advice for your specific situation — that is what the conversation is for.

Features described on this site can change or be withdrawn. Where one forms part of what you are paying for, the proposal is what binds, not the marketing page.

Third-party services

Payments run through Stripe, email through Resend, calls through Agora, the database and file storage through Convex, and hosting through Vercel. Their terms govern their part of the service. The privacy policy lists each one, what it handles and where it sits.

Links out to other sites are just links. What happens on the other end is between you and them.

Accessibility

The target for this site is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The accessibility statement says what is in place, what is not yet, and how to tell me when something does not work for you. That is not a formality — it is the page I most want to hear about.
